I’m receiving an error that the Dynamic Trend Profile is unable to communicate with servers?
This is usually caused by a firewall installed on the PC. Please make sure that your firewall is allowing our program access to the Internet.
Another common reason may be spy ware or adware that is on the PC. The PC will need to be cleaned with a spy ware removal tool. Another common cause for this error is that the internet connection is not working or is disconnected.
A "Cannot Find Configuration File" error occurs.
This happens when installing the Quotecenter Version of the Program as this version searches for Quotecenter on your PC. If you are not a Quotecenter user please download and install the version that is labeled "Dynamic Trend Profile".

How do I know I'm running the latest build?
To check and see what version you are currently running open the Profile and click on Help - About. This will show the version and build that you are currently running. If you are running an outdated build we will notify you when you go to log into the Profile. Below your username you will see a message that states there is a new version or build. Just click on that text and it will take you to our download site to download the latest version or build.

What does the * mean?
You will sometimes see an asterisk * included next to the trigger price. When you see an asterisk included in the trigger box, this indicates the trigger level can change. When the trigger level is stable, the asterisk * disappears.
What do I do if I have a firewall on my PC or network?
You will need to allow the Dynamic Trend Profile access to the Internet. Generally, when a new program tries to access the Internet on a PC that has a firewall on it, the firewall will ask if you would like to permit or deny it access. You will need to permit the Dynamic Trend Profile access to the Internet for it to work properly. After being prompted for access it may be necessary to restart the Dynamic Trend Profile so it can fully access the Internet.

Can I use the Dynamic Trend software on more than one computer?
You can use the service on any computer that you would like. The only limitation is that you can only be logged in to one at a time. You can have the service loaded at your home and then re-log in at your friends house. The account that is logged in at home will then automatically be logged out. If you require having this service run on two or more computers at the same time, please contact our sales department for more information about a second account: sales@dynamictrend.com.
I have a Wizetrade product installed on my PC and Dynamic Trend Profile crashes when I start it?
This is due to the version of eSignal Data Manager that is installed on the PC. Wizetrade has certain customizations on the data manager that they use with their program. The solution for this is to download the latest version of eSignal which includes the general release version of the eSignal Data Manager. It does not cost anything to download or install eSignal. You will want to use your username and password from Wizetrade in the data manager during the install of eSignal. Once eSignal is installed restart your PC and then try opening the Dynamic Trend Profile and it will work.
What are the system requirements?
To use the Dynamic Trend Profile software you will need to meet a basic set of hardware and software requirements. Please make sure that you have met these requirements before installing the Dynamic Trend Profile. Hardware Requirements
• 800mhz Pentium 3 or compatible
• 256 Megabytes of System Ram
• 17 inch monitor set at a minimum 800x600 resolution
• 5 Megabytes of Hard Drive Space
• Internet Connection (Dial/Up - Broadband)
Software Requirements
• Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP
• To receive live data quotes, or have the ability to open a chart in the eSignal desktop, you will need eSignal Desktop version 7.9 or greater. This is not required for the Dynamic Trend Profile application.
